2023 'Valley's End' Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Good winter rain allowed soil profiles to be full, giving the vines a great start to the growing season. A remarkably cool summer followed, providing perfect conditions for healthy balanced vines. The long ripening period produced fruit with a perfect balance of good colour, high natural acidity, and concentrated flavours. Our Sauvignon Blanc tends to be a little more restrained that other regions, so the Semillon contributes more than its share would imply. We’ve been making this blend since the late 80’s, and it continues to prove it is worthy of its inclusion

Stainless steel, neutral yeast

Tropical fruits abound with Lychee and Passionfruit supported by a framework of citrus and lemongrass providing generosity through the front and middle palates before feeding through to a clean, crisp finish.

Lime Juice and Passionfruit roll out languidly with some classic Sauvignon Blanc grassy notes.
