2023 'The Hill Block' Reserve Cabernet Magnum

1.5L Magnum

Another fantastic release of our Hill Block. Drinking nicely upon release, but from a classic Clare cool vintage this great wine has a very bright future with careful cellaring and could easily go 15-20 years if that is your preference. Perfectly accompanied by a butterflied leg of roast lamb with rosemary.

Rated 95 Points by Mike Bennie, Halliday Wine Companion, August 2026

"This hits some good notes. It's quite a trim, taut expression, shy in its fruit character but some could say fresh and lively, too. Cassis, blueberry, black plum, cola, clove and choc-mint appear in the slender, shy-of-medium-weight frame. Fine tannins shape things to a soft chew; an exuberant perfume works well. Luncheon Claret in style, with drinkability high and the wine energetic and lithe. Very enjoyable, fine boned, pure and effortless in its way, too."
